Knaye West Cover

To create this i used a masking tool

When making the first mood board i chose a specific demografic so that the images i used would appeal to that audience. The images i've chosen are all similar in terms of colour, the colour blue shown in images ofthe sea and the sky, gives a feel of summer (summer = holiday) the hints of vibrant colour appealed to a 'young adult' demographic, whereas when putting together the second mood board i used very nutral, simple colours. I did this as the theme was interior design so i aimed to appeal to a more mature audience.

NME Magazine Article

I used a range of skills to re-create an NME magazine article such as: enlighnement, text frames to create a 3 coloum layout, being able to insert appropriate images ect..

What's Wrong with Jennifer Aniston

  • The Title has been slightly cut off at the head of the magazine, 'STYLE' could be moved down.
  • 'angelina' is a name, this should have started with a capital letter, also the style of font is too thin, it should be in bold as it doesnt stand out on the magazine cover.
  • The colour scheme isnt strict enough (too many different colours), making the magazine cover look unprofessional and childlike
  • The beige coloured text blends into the background and is uneasy to read
  • Most of the text around the magazine is too small and the font style makes it even more difficult to read.
  • All text on the magazine cover needs to be ONE or two fonts.
  • No ruler used on the outsides of the cover causes the magazine to look untidy and unsophisticated.
